free gingival graft

periodontal management before orthodontic treatment, patient has recession in the lower anterior region with insufficient attached gingiva related to lower two central incisors. after completing nonsurgical treatment through supra and sub gingival scaling, decision was made to increase the zone of attached gingiva with a FGG , then proceeding to orthodontic treatment .. after finishing the orthodontic treatment . coronally reposioning flap will be made to cover the exposed root surface .. a protocol which proposed by Zuchilli as a two step root coverage .. : graft was taken from the palate measured exactly as the recipient site .. no suture was made for the donor site
