Saving teeth by soft tissue augmentation
36 years old male, systematically free , with good oral hygiene complaining of exposed roots of lower two central incisors, teeth mobility and rapid calculus accumulation although he is practicing proper and regular brushing, and upon evaluation clinically and radiographically it showed that there recession class IV Miller and there is deficient wrist hog attached gingiva which jeopardize the teeth prognosis! Upon those findings, the treatment plan stated to carry on soft tissue augmentation “using FGG and apically positioned flap” to increase width of attached gingiva, placing the affected teeth in more favorable conditions for better future prognosis.
