This case was referred because of symptomatic apical periodontitis. There was some secondary decay below an old composite and my guess is that the implant has touched the apex of the buccal root. The root canal treatment was uneventful. NaOCl 5%, EDTA 15%, PUI, Protaper NEXT X1, X2, X3, guttapercha + Topseal, CWC. The restoration consists of the following: G-aenial AO3 for the core, G-aenial A3 for the distal side, G-aenial junior enamel for the occlusal layer and Micerium Brown Stain 2. And here are my problems and questions: 1) How do I make it so that my staining is much finer, I always seem to get too much staining? In this case I placed the stain before the final layer of junior enamel, but still it's to large. I place it with a fine probe and remove the surplus with some paper points/microbrush 2) How thick should the distal layer of G-aenial A3 be? It looks too transparent. Or should I only use the opaque composites on that side? 3) I still have some polishing problems. I currently use brownies, then a shiny from Micerium and then occlubrush, but often I get a matte finish instead of a shiny finish.

Hello, this is a case I did today and I have 3 questions concerning the restoration. I hope somebody can guide me in the good direction, because I often have these issues with staining and finishing/polishing. The questions are in the description of the picture.
