To restore or not to restore... The legion is on the mesial side of the molar. According to modern dentistry, if the patient's caries risk was good, a non-cavitated legion like this one can re-mineralize. So instead of restoring the tooth with a filling that would fail eventually, we can treat the tooth conservatively. Provided the patient understands the risk. an adhesive bond can seal the enamel and facilitate re-minerlization an X-ray in a follow up appointment can determine the caries progress. Note: I will upload the X-ray on Saturday. It show a cries legion confined within enamel. Please share your experience with similar cases. Would you restore or monitor?
