Apexogenesis in an erupting Young permanent first molar!!! Love Pedo#Micro#Laser#minimally invasive Dentistry.

Baseline situation demonstrates immature erupting 36 with MIH and deep caries approaching pulp. Patient's only complain was sensitivity.

Since Mesial caries was sub-gingival, Diode laser (880Nm) was used for sulcus deepening and bleeding control.

Caries excavation was done with spoon shaped excavator under operating microscope.

Lesion after caries excavation of soft caries. Deeper caries was left behind to avoid pulp exposure.

IPC was done with Biodentin and the tooth was restored with Fuji IX GIC.

Final restoration with SS crown.

Six months recall showed asymptotic 36 with continued root maturation.
